If you specialize in lower-tier leagues or obscure props, though, you'll hit the edges of the menu sooner than at DraftKings or FanDuel, which is why fewer niche markets sits in our cons list.

Who Sets the BetRivers Odds?

Rush Street Interactive builds the BetRivers app and its betting features itself, but the prices come from Kambi, a third-party risk and trading platform. RSI's most recent annual report confirms Kambi still sits underneath the sportsbook, and the two companies extended their deal again in August 2024.

That matters for line shopping. BetRivers' numbers come from a different trading desk than DraftKings or FanDuel, so its lines don't always move in lockstep with the market leaders. That's what you want from a second or third sportsbook account.

We checked the same markets at BetRivers, DraftKings and FanDuel at the same time to see where BetRivers lands on price.

Pricing verdict: BetRivers had the best price on two of our five markets, and both were NFL lines. The Steelers-Saints over at -107 pays $4.17 more per $100 than FanDuel’s -112.

Chris Olave’s receptions over at -148 beat both rivals. On the Steelers moneyline it was only three cents behind FanDuel.

The weak spots were the Raptors spread, where -120 was the worst price of the three, and Bills Super Bowl LXI futures, where DraftKings’ +750 beat BetRivers’ +700.

Five markets is a snapshot, not a full study, but the pattern is clear: BetRivers is worth checking for NFL totals and player props, and for futures you’ll usually find a better price elsewhere.

We tested the BetRivers live chat ourselves. The conversation started with an automated assistant before we were transferred to a human agent, with a wait of around 10–15 minutes.
