What Is BankRolla Casino & How Does It Work?

BankRolla is a social casino that uses a promotional sweepstakes model, similar to sites like Chumba, Stake.us, and McLuck. Instead of wagering real money directly on games, players use two virtual currencies while playing.

• Gold Coins (GC): These are used strictly for entertainment. You can spin slots and try out different games with GC, but any winnings from them can’t be redeemed for real prizes.
• Sweeps Coins (SC): These are the sweepstakes currency on the platform. When you play with SC, any winnings can be redeemed for real cash prizes at a rate of 1 SC = $1.

Like most social and sweepstakes casinos, BankRolla offers a two-part welcome bonus for new players. The first part is the BankRolla no deposit bonus, which gives you 200,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins for free with no purchase required.

When I signed up, the bonus was paid out in two different phases. I received 100K GC and 1 SC right after creating my account, and the remaining 100K GC and 1 SC were added right after I verified my email. I also didn't need a specific BankRolla promo code or bonus code to unlock the offer.

The second part of the welcome offer is an optional 100% first-purchase bonus. New players can buy a Gold Coin package that includes 20K GC and 20 free SC for $9.99, which is normally priced at $19.99.

Ongoing Promotions & Loyalty Rewards

BankRolla offers a few ways to earn extra rewards after signing up. The main one is the Daily Quest, which gives you 10,000 GC + 0.1 SC every 24 hours. I claimed it by heading to the Rewards section and clicking the claim button. The 0.1 SC reward is pretty small compared to what some other social casinos give out each day, though.

BankRolla also has a 12-tier VIP Club, with each tier (or “Floor”) containing 15 levels. You earn XP by playing casino games, and each time you level up, you'll receive a prize ranging from around 0.1 SC to 75 SC.

Higher VIP tiers also come with additional perks, including birthday rewards and access to a personal VIP manager. You're automatically enrolled in the program when you create an account, so there's no separate sign-up required.

Purchases & Prize Redemptions

BankRolla is technically a free-to-play platform, since purchases aren’t required. That said, if you want to build up your balance faster, you can buy Gold Coin packages, which usually include about 1 Sweeps Coin for every $1 spent.

For purchases, BankRolla currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and online banking. I didn’t see any alternative options like PayPal, Venmo, Skrill, or crypto.

On the other hand, when it comes to prize redemptions, there are a few important rules to keep in mind:

• You’ll need at least 100 SC in your account before you can redeem prizes.
• Sweeps Coins have to be played through once (1x) before they become eligible for redemption.
• Prizes are redeemed at a rate of 1.00 SC = $1.00.
• BankRolla currently has a $1,000 daily maximum redemption limit and a $5,000 monthly maximum redemption limit.
• Before redeeming prizes, you’ll need to verify your phone number and upload a photo ID as part of the KYC process.

During my BankRolla review, I wasn’t able to reach the 100 SC threshold, so I couldn’t test a redemption.

Based on feedback from other players, though, most redemptions seem to take around 1-3 business days (via an ACH bank transfer), with the first one sometimes taking a little longer due to identity verification steps.

Casino Games at BankRolla

As of the time of writing, BankRolla offers 1,097 games from more than a dozen different software providers, including some names you might recognize like 3 Oaks, Playson, Booming Games, Mancala Gaming, and Novomatic.

Slots make up the majority of the game library here, which is pretty typical for a sweepstakes casino. There are also some crash games and table games available too.

Slots on BankRolla are grouped into different sections like Bonus Buy, Megaways, Classic Games, and Jackpots, which highlight games with certain features or gameplay mechanics.

There’s also a New Releases section where you’ll find some of the newer titles on the site, including games like Lava Coins 2, 4 Pots of Egypt, and Lord of Thunder.

You’ll also see sections called "Hot RTP" and "Top Games." The Hot RTP section highlights some of the highest-RTP slots on the site, while Top Games includes some of the most played titles, such as 4 Pots Riches Hold and Win and Piggy Bonanza.

Crash Games

There’s also a “Crash Games” section on BankRolla where you’ll find games like AviaJet and Pilot, along with a few other specialty options. Gravity Plinko, Limbo Cat, and 10K Dice are a few of the other titles included in this category.

Table Games & Live Dealer Games

BankRolla does have a "Table Games" section, but it’s pretty limited right now. At the moment, it only includes a single blackjack game from Mascot Gaming.

There are no roulette, baccarat, video poker, or live dealer games available on the site yet. Most social and sweepstakes casinos have already added live dealer options to their selections, so I was a bit disappointed not to see them here.

That said, since BankRolla is still a relatively new social casino, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see this part of the game library grow over time.

BankRolla App & Mobile Experience

BankRolla doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app on the App Store or Google Play. Instead, players access the site directly through their mobile browser.

I tested the site on my iPhone and didn’t run into any issues. Pages loaded smoothly, and it was easy to move around the site and find different games.

When comparing the site on a MacBook and an iPhone, the experience was very similar. The layout changes slightly to fit the smaller screen, but most menus and features stay in the same places.

BankRolla also offers a web app that can be added to your phone’s home screen. Once added, the site opens like an app and can send push notifications about promotions if you choose to enable them.

Yes, BankRolla is a legitimate social casino that uses the same sweepstakes model as many similar platforms in the United States. This means players can access games for free, and Sweeps Coins promotions include a free method of entry along with official rules explaining eligibility and prizes.
